Electrical measurement cost calculator

A multiple socket outlet (e.g. double or triple) is counted as a single measurement point.

  • A legal requirement every 5 years. Under Art. 62 of the Polish Construction Law, owners and managers of buildings are required to carry out a periodic inspection of the electrical and lightning protection installation at least once every 5 years. Failure to do so may result in legal liability, especially in the event of a fault or fire.
  • A thorough inspection takes many hours. Properly testing every socket, fitting and circuit requires several to over a dozen hours of work, depending on the size of the property. The price reflects the actual time involved and the use of specialist measuring equipment.
  • Not every year – once every 5 years. Unlike e.g. a gas boiler service (required annually), an electrical inspection is needed far less frequently. Spread over 5 years, the cost is relatively low compared to the safety it provides.
  • The result is an official document. On completion, a measurement report is issued – a required document for building acceptance, property sale, or filing an insurance claim.
